Description
The Grabowsee Heilstätte is a former pulmonary healing site on Lake Grabow in the district of Oberhavel in Brandenburg, Germany. It was the first pulmonary tuberculosis treatment centre in northern Germany and was founded in 1896 by the German Red Cross. After World War II, it was used as a Soviet Milltary hospital from 1945 to 1995. The site is now a popular setting for films and photographs.
